Amy Turner Bushnell, Ph.D., Brown University
Amy T. Bushnell is Adjunct Associate Professor of History at Brown University and Invited Research Scholar at the John Carter Brown Library. She is the co-editor of the Palgrave Macmillan series “The Americas in the Modern Atlantic World.” Her publications include Situado and Sabana: Spain’s Support System for the Presidio and Mission Provinces of Florida (1994); The King’s Coffer: Proprietors of the Spanish Florida Treasury, 1565-1702 (1981), and (ed.) Establishing Exceptionalism: Historiography and the Colonial Americas (1995).

Rachel Cremona, Ph.D., Flagler College
Dr. Cremona earned her Ph.D. in Comparative Politics from the State University of New York at Binghamton and a Masters Degree in American Government from Essex University in the UK. Her dissertation, “A Meaningful Majority: Rediscovering Government by the People” provides an empirical examination of the potential and limitations of modern democratic governance. She is also a contributing author in Borders, Nationalism and the African State (Lynne Reinner, 2005).  Her areas of specific interest include democratic representation, political parties and electoral behavior.

Catherine CulverCatherine Culver, Colonial Spanish Quarter Museum, City of St. Augustine
Ms. Culver is the Operations Manager for the Colonial Spanish Quarter, City of St. Augustine’s living history museum specializing in student visitation and heritage tourism programs, having previously served as Marketing and Events Coordinator for the city.  She has more than 15 years of hospitality industry experience, specializing in historic inns and hotels in the west and southwest U.S., as well as St. Augustine, FL.  Raised in Southern California, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Park Administration from San Diego State University. She completed her Master of Science in Tourism, with a concentration in Heritage Tourism, from the University of Florida in 2006.
